Engineering Division

Pipsqueak Studios Engineering Division has been busy in recent months building a CNC router table which will be used for cutting out parts used for sets as well as components for the planned upgrade to the camera motion control system.
It's first task will be make parts for it's own upgrade. Much needed as the video below shows:

The Puppet Making dept has also been honing it's skills with a project forming part of an entry into this year's 'World of Wearable Art' competition. Details on that have to remain secret for the time being.

Completely 'armless

The male lead in Pipsqueak Studios' current production is Wormy. Here he is showing off his walk cycle. Sorry about the crap title bit...

A Star is Born!

You can't run a film studio (even one in a shed) without a logo to put at the front of every production.
Here's Freddie in his first staring role...

First Attempt

Brief Encounter

This started out as a simple test of my motion control rig, but ended up turning into a complete video of a simple love story.
Technically it leaves a lot to be desired but we all have to start somewhere!

Introduction

Pipsqueak Studios is a purely amateur/hobby bit of fun run by Kit Wareham-Norfolk in Exmouth, Western Australia to produce animated films.

The topics you may encounter here cover everything to do with the making of an animated film including not just the artistic bits but also technical stuff about software, motion control, DIY lighting rigs and camera issues.
